Review : It's Melissa McCarthy... The Queen of Comedy
It's Melissa McCarthy. She could sit in total silence the entire movie and I would still be laughing. The movie started out funny and then hit a rough patch for a while. Then Tammy robbed the fast food restaurant and it picked up and took off from there. This is Melissa and her husbands first movie where they wrote/produced/directed. That is obvious but Melissa is perfect and the movie had many funny moments and had a lot of heart. It was great to see the changes in the main characters throughout the film. Susan Sarandon was also great in this, as was Kathy Bates. I pre-ordered this on BluRay because I enjoyed the movie and I want to support Melissa and Ben so they keep doing what they're doing and learn and grow and improve. I can't wait for their next film!
