Title : Inuyasha: The Movie the Complete Collection [Blu-ray]
ASIN : B00AQJ6QJY
Description : In a mystical version of feudal-era Japan modern-day schoolgirl Kagome and half-demon Inuyasha are drawn together across time to protect a land ravaged by demons! In these four feature films our heroes take on new challenges and strange foes. With their crew of demon-slaying friends Kagome and Inuyasha face the adventures of their lives! The four Inu-Yasha theatrical features pit the cast of Rumiko Takahashi's "feudal fairy tale" against new foes: The search for the shards of the Shikon Jewel falls by the wayside as Kagome, Inu-Yasha, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango tackle these supernatural enemies. In Affections Touching Across Time (2001), the moth-demon Menomaru seeks to reclaim the powers of his father, who was defeated by Inu-Yasha's father during the attempted Mongol invasion of 1274. The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass (2002) evokes the Japanese legend "The Tale of the Bamboo-Cutter," when Kaguya appears, claiming to be the legendary Moon Princess. Swords of an Honorable Ruler (2003) reveals that Inu-Yasha's father, the Great Dog Demon, possessed not two but three swords: Tetsusaiga, Tenseiga, and Sounga, which are linked to Earth, Heaven, and Hell, respectively. When the Sounga is accidentally freed, its aura raises the soul of Takemaru, the samurai who murdered Inu-Yasha's mother. The villains in Fire on Mystic Island (2004) are the Four War Gods, powerful demons on the island of Houraijima, who preserve and augment their power by sacrificing half-demon children. The later films are darker and more violent, although the directors balance the mayhem against familiar comedic elements, especially Kagome and Inu-Yasha squabbling. The features all reflect larger budgets than the television series, as the filmmakers employ a variety of CG effects: explosions, lightning bolts, insects, monsters, and strangling tree roots. Affections Touching Across Time stands out as the handsomest of the films, with designs that suggest the woodblock prints of Kawase Hasui. The set includes CD's of the movie soundtracks and a booklet on the traditional Japanese instruments they feature, although more information on composer Kaoru Wada would have been nice. A must-have for Inu-Yasha fans. (Rated Teen: suitable for ages 13 and older: violence, grotesque imagery, brief nudity, alcohol use, risqué humor) --Charles Solomon

Review : Great movies, horrific Blu-ray transfer.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 4-FILM BLU-RAY COLLECTION. This is the perfect completion to anyone's InuYasha collection. Seven box sets of DVDs, the new, concluding series and now the movies. I thought this was going to be the best part. It was, sort of. The presentation of this product is four films on two Blu-ray discs. Upon watching them, I noticed something peculiar: it looked like I was watching it on my own tube sets from the 1990s, not the 40in LCD in 24P mode. The films are presented in 1080i. That's right, INTERLACED. That went out with NTSC, DVD and VHS. I bought these because I honestly don't know of a single 1080i Blu-ray on the face of the earth. The reason I buy Blu-ray discs is to get the films in a progressive presentation. I don't know what the manufacturers of this disc was thinking, but I say WAIT until they fix this and rerelease it correctly. Four stars for the films, minus one for the sadly cheap interlaced presentation. Very depressing.

Review : One of the best Naruto Movies to date! Besides Road to Ninja!

Blood Prison was a really great Naruto movie.I watched the Japanese version and it had alot of awesome fight scenes.Whats even better is,Killer Bee is in it,fighting too.The Raikageis only at the beginning and the 5th Hokage fights too but in her Leaf village clothes. All the Leaf Ninja 11 are in this movie and this is the first movie to have Sage mode Naruto.I'm really glad Viz are releasing this early besides having to wait a year every time they release a Naruto movie.Maybe Road to Ninja will be released this year has well. Please VIZ,Naruto:Road to Ninja is the best movie to date, release it this year too.

Review : Four "InuYasha" films for $21 on Blu-ray? You better believe it!
In Japan, there are few manga/anime series that have lasting power for more than ten years. Let alone be created by a mangaka who has achieved it multiple times.

Rumiko Takashi, best known for anime TV series hits such as "Urusei Yatsura", "Maison Ikkoku", "Ranma 1/2″ began her manga series "InuYasha" in 1996, while in 2000 the animated series followed and a sequel to close the series was released in 2009-2010. By the end of InuYasha, a total of 56 manga volumes were created, 167 episodes from 2000-2004 and the final 26 episodes from 2009-2010.

A very popular series that has captivated anime audiences for many years, with a franchise that led to video games, novels, soundtracks and a live action play, as customary for popular animated series, "InuYasha" also a total of four animated films created.

In 2001, "InuYasha the Movie 1: Affections Touching Across Time"; in 2002, "InuYasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass"; in 2003,...

Review : Best Naruto Movie Yet?

I bought this Malaysian release of Blood Prison. Honestly I dont know if this is an offical release or a bootleg. As far as the DVD goes, quality is perfect. Audio, video and subtitles. The movie itself is great. It seems as if Naruto was abandonded by the Hidden Leaf Village. It almost brought a tear to my eye when the whole village came back in the end to support him! This movie held my attention for an hour and a half. Never a dull moment. One of the best Naruto movies. If you like Naruto, of course this movie is a must see.
